It said that on mine as well...I just ignored it

 

I know my Nissan Armada is the DD (Double-Din) style...

 

I'm thinking they don't have the website configuration updated/compatible with the D3 as of yet.... just a guess though...but if you have the DD style in your car - you should be good to go.

it says that for the '07 Jeep Wranger as well. The OEM Jeep head unit is wider than the normal 2din, so you have to get a bracket from Metra which fills in the extra space. Go to MetraOnline.com, and they probably have something for your vehicle.

 

Does anyone know if the the bypass stuff that works for the Z1 will work for the D3? I wouldn't want one without the bypass.

Nobody has one yet so its still impossible to say if it will be bypassable

If it said it won't fit, just make sure you have at least a Double Din opening. Can someone please post the dimensions I don't know them off hand. If you have a DD or larger then it will fit but you most likely will need some sort of adapter.
