garypen Posted February 23, 2013 Report Share Posted February 23, 2013 I've downloaded the latest NavTeq maps for US/Can. I have a few questions about installing to my F700. -I see that the new map folder contains fbl, fda, fsp, and hnr files. But, in the AVIC map folder, there are only fbl files. So, should I only copy over the fbl files? -No license file was included with any of the NavTeq maps I found. Can I use the one already on the AVIC, or is there a generic license file for non-Pioneer-supplied maps, or perhaps a library of multiple license files somewhere? (FYI, I do have the modified EZRider file.) -I have heard the TeleAtlas POI's are superior to NavTeq POI's for the US. Is this true? And, can I use TA POI's with NT maps? Thanks.
