MarcL
I installed an AVH-X5500BHS a few weeks ago. Everything is working fine. I now installed the AVIC-U250. Once the nav module boots up, it creates a high pitched engine whine Anyone experience this before? I tried a new U250 and a new RGB cable, tried a new ground for the nav module, and tried in line power filters, nothing works.

SPY/DF
I use AVH-X8580BT with a AVIC-U250 and I'm having the same problem (also happens with the AVIC-F220). This noise is not coming from the installation or vehicle. This is a flaw in the RGB input of the new devices from Pioneer ("X" models).
