DP3343
I just recieved the one from imod.co and it works wonderfully. I finally can hide all the hdmi to lightning adapter that btw was starting to go south from the abuse. Did not want to pay to replace that thing, that's for sure. imapwnu
I too ordered the imod.co cable, can't wait to get rid of all that clutter! Also if you guys are looking for a good dash mounting solution check out Kenu http://www.kenu.com/products/airframe really minimal mount clip around $20 on Amazon. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I like vent clips, but for those that do it seems a good way to go!

delboymel
Can I ask a silly question please? My app radio 2 was installed when I had my iPhone 4S. I'm currently using an iPod that sits permanently in the car but I've now got a 5s. Are there any cables/adapters/extensions that would take the existing 30pin cable coming from the app radio , that can plug into my new iPhone 5s? Or do I need to remove the App radio unit and use some diff cables as well? Just trying to see if there's anything I can do myself very simply (if it involves removing the unit, i get someone else to do it! !)
VBLUE42
No adapter from 30pin to Lightning will allow you A/V and App Mode. You have to use the appropriate cables for a lightning device. You can use an adapter for audio only you will loose video and App Mode.

imapwnu
Hi friends, Got the iMod cable (http://imod.co/shop/lightning-extension-cable-for-ios-7) today and it does NOT work with my iPhone 5S with iOS 7.0.4 on AppRadio or without. Any others worthwhile to try?

It's hit or miss with the Chinese eBay stuff. I've had several lightning cables either never work, or stop working. Is saving time and frustration worth an extra $15? I'd just go with the proven cable: http://www.cablejive.com/dockxtender/
dimitracos
definetely not worth: 23usd for cable, plus 13usd for shipping to EU , so 39usd for a piece of wire is too much... Since car is waiting for a summer season I think it will be reasonable to give a try purchasing an ebay wire...
