Hi all, thanks for your effort, i tried 3 microsd with no luck... i don't know if these doesn't fit or are my files, so, can someone tell me files, folders and dimension of the update??

CARDINFO.CIF

When i select properties for this items i have 220 files, 21 folders and 3,37 GB (3.623.875.032 byte). Is that correct?

last thing, i have to make a label for the volume of microsd or can i leave blank?

The files are correct 220 Files and 21 folders 3,37 GB (3.624.120.320 Bytes)

 

Please make a full format on the SD, it takes longer but to be on the safe side. Copy the whole folders and files to the root of the SD. You may need to create the OPENING.FLG with 0KB, put it in this folder Update\USER\SYSTEM\BG

 

I remember the update won't start on my AVIC F20BT until I've created this file.

when i put into the sd card on my F10, he told me to write the code for pioneer. Who s this code?

You have to make some changes to the F10. read carefully

 

INSTRUCTIONS

To do the update on an F930BT you just have to:

 

01) Download the files from the links above.

02) Extract them to a safe place.

03) Open the extracted folders and go into the Update folder

04) Replace the VERINFO.DAT with the above one.

05) Copy everything you extracted onto a clean 4GB+ SD Card which has been FAT32 Complete Formated

(make sure that the files and folders on the root of the SD card are:

FIRMWARE (folder)

Update (folder)

CARDINFO.cif

06) Put it in your Car (with the engine running or on a charger etc)

07) The Pioneer will ask you if you want to run the update choose ((yes)) the device will reboot and start the update.

08) Wait untill the update is completed

09) Once completed, it may ask you to update again, if so, select ((No)).

10) If you want to update your Bluetooth firmware then, enter Bluetooth settings and update the bluetooth firmware.

 

Please be sure that you did everything as mentioned above. It's better to make a backup of your system before updating.

 

For those with Avic F10BT,  F20BT or F920Bt

Download the CARDINFO.CIF from above.

 

OR

 

Open the original CARDINFO.CIF in text editor, search and replace this:

 

KJJARRH8R51UX72EUR

 

With

 

X07EURX27EURX30EUR

 

If you did everything correctly, you will have your AVIC updated to version 5.0 with the newest Europe Maps

Hello together,

 

Unfortunately the remote control on my steering wheel doesnt work anymore :(

Strange, you've updated your device and not the steering wheel remote control! Is this a manufacturer remote or after market one? Can you tell me the brand and the manufacturer of this device, maybe some one have this remote and can help you. I'll also take a look for you.
