oppie1
i have a question.. the blue wire from the head unit to the amp for remote power on. is that constant? like i wanna be able to add a switch to turn off the amp when i listen to talk radio (Opie and Anthony and Ron and Fez). if i put a switch in line of the remote turn on, will that cut the amp off when i throw the switch? thanks Brian
whtcrxghst
Yes, but if you turned off the amp, you wouldn't get any sound
Z1Envoy
You can add a switch to that wire if you would like. The remote lead puts a +12 volt when power is turned on the Headunit. You could put a switch in to cut that power thus turning off the amp. Make sure the switch is isolated from any grounding. I am guessing this is for the subs....
