Z140bt android support?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, probably a dumb question but I'm a long time avic user with my iPhones. Currently I use my iPhone 5 with the pioneer adapter to control my pandora and iPod music etc, but I'm thinking of switching over to android now.

Specifically, the Samsung galaxy note.

I know the specs of our radio says supports android, but does it have to use Bluetooth?

Is there a cable or adapter? Will I be able to control my android thru my head unit?

I just don't wanna go back to the old days of using a 3.5mm audio out cable :)

I'm just wondering if the Android support is as good as the iPhone support (not that the iPhone support was ever that great!)

Thanks for your time!

You'll need the Android Connectivity Kit here: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Accessories/Smartphone-and-iPod-Cables/CD-AH200

Then you can use the AppRadio android app
