I want to get a newer touch but want to make sure it will be compatible. I know when I've tried to connect my iphone 4 it hangs the unit for some reason. Just retried the iphone an it worked now, but I wonder if it was a video problem when I tried to play a movie off it. Still interested an a touch, especially if I could wirelessly sync it. Each new apple update can rearrange pinout where a nonapple cable is most likely to become obsolete.
