Avic Z2 Dropping Front Left Speaker signal on XM only - What do I replace???

Recommended Posts

Hoping someone here might be able to give me some advice because I am stumped.

I have an Avic Z2 and I have the Pioneer GEX-P10XMT XM Receiver.  Recently I have noticed that the left front speaker will drop out almost completely and it only happens when I am listening to XM.  If I switch inputs to any other source the speaker works perfectly.  Its really frustrating and i cannot figure out what the issue is.  I have checked all connections and everything is well connected but I must have  bad cable but I am not sure which one I would replace?  If I hit a big bump or pothole sometimes the left speaker will pop back on but when I try to jiggle it or hit I can never get it to pop back on.  Its so random.

If anyone has any suggestions or can tell me which cable I should replace and where I might find them for this older system I would be grateful.

Many thanks!

Christian
