I want to mirror my jailbroken iPhone 5s,so that I can operate the phone from the unit.( i realize that Mike Decaro still has some work to do and I will donate some cash to his cause for sure) I want to be able to hook the unit up to a rear seat entertainment system. I would like to be able to play a dvd in the unit itself. I would like to be able to hook up an after marked subwoofer also. Thanks for all your input. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
DP3343 Posted January 9, 2014 Report Share Posted January 9, 2014 Based on your requirements one of the new NEX units might be up your alley. As far as any kind of appradio functionality they are all similar. What you need to make sure is that it is one of the units with a capacitive display and that it supports lightning devices. Besides that the appradio experience has very little to do with the radio in question and everything to do with the phone connected to it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The AVIC and AVH units appear to have issues so I wouldn't recommend any of those. But it really doesn't matter as AppEx isn't compatible at this time.
