AVH-X8500BHS and Wireless Bluetooth Pandora (Android)

Recommended Posts

Does this headunit support Wireless Bluetooth Connectivity to Pandora (using an Android) on the headunit like the X4500BT and other same generation DVD headunits?  I tried an X8500BHS out and the Pandora Connect Mode option (Wireless vs Wired) is NOT in the System Menu unlike the X4500BT...thus requiring an HDMI connection.  I confirmed that the HDMI connection works fine with Pandora.  Also, the manual makes no mention of the Wireless Connect Mode option and mentions only mentions HDMI connectivity for Android.  Can anyone else confirm this?  Testing was done with a Samsung Note3 and genuine Samsung MHL 2.0 HDMI adapter.

Thanks!
