VBLUE42
when we unplug the battery will we need to redo this procedure everytime? Most likely. Pioneer units have no memory retention if the battery is disconnected.
rwilimo
Has anyone had success with this on the 7000? Yes, works!

ddawg2177
I have the 5000 and I'm not finding the sweet spot for step 5 is it by the arrows point downwards? Any help will be greatly appreciated

drenyce311
I didn't ground the parking brake. I just held it long enough to get the EULA and did the bypass and now it's good to go. Hasn't asked me about parking brake either. This is on a 8000nex. Thanks installereric.
aspirinmornings
Worked for my 7000. Took a couple tries to get that spot just right. Doing everything immediately after starting the ignition did the trick. Whenever I waited before doing the sequence it didn't work.

spiveyman
I had no luck on a nex 4000. I tried it upon initial setup(forces you to pick a language first) unlike in the above video. I also tried it numerous times at startup, not at startup, no luck. I would safely say its a no go on the 4000nex...hopefully the micro bypass will do the trick? CuznVinny
I did power mine up on the bench first to test it, that's why there was no initial setup in the vid. Doesnt have to be the very first power-on.
Brock Samson
Worked perfectly on my 6000
