aspirinmornings
I installed the 7000nex today into my 2012 Honda CRV EX. Also installed and was able to get the axxess aswc-1 working. Honda has that small i-mid screen up top that i use for maintenance info, locks/lights and another clock. It's only accessed by the steering wheel controls. I'm able to use all the controls and get to the clock setting, but i can't edit the time - so its inaccurate but the pioneer unit is correct . Does anyone who has installed a NEX have a Honda with an i-mid?
celloville
Hello, I'm about to do a similar install on my 2014 Honda CRV. I purchased a SWC made by Connects2 (CTSHO006.2). It supposedly is engineered so that you can adjust the clock and other functions within the i-Mid menus. I haven't done the install yet so I can't give my experience, but theoretically this interface should be able to do more than the other SWC adapters (and the install looks to be more simplified). I'm curious, how is your CRV working without the stock radio? Apart from the clock issues is there anything that's missing or not working properly?
olevelo
If nothing else you can probably disconnect the battery and then reconnect at just the right time, depending on what the clock defaults back to (usually either 1200 or 1:00).
