contacts syncing

I set my new unit (AVH-x2600bt) to sync my contacts, My phone is a Samsung Note 2. When it did it synced everything, even email addresses that don't have a phone number. It even synced email addresses I just hit reply to probably years ago, that don't show up on my phone. The result is there are about 500 contacts in my contact list, most without phone number.

 

Is there a way to have it only sync my phone list that is on my phone?
