citrus
Incorrect Info. The unit does in fact have (3) 4V Pre Outs. I didn't notice that the subwoofer one is in the head unit itself, below the back up camera input. I assumed it was on of the ones on the short 4" leads.
scotty3x3
I am Extremely angry and sent the email below to Pioneer. You need to correct your overview and specifications pages for the AVIC-8000NEX on both the USA and Canada websites. Both pages list the head unit as being equipped with 3x4V RCA Pre Outs and this is incorrect. There are only 2. The 3rd set of RCA's are labelled as an input, and the installation manual clearly states this and instructs to use the rear pre out for a subwoofer. I am EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED about only finding this out when I installed my unit. How could you delete a critical set of Pre-Outs on a flagship device? This is very foolish, now I have to run my fronts and rears off of one RCA using a y-splitter thereby reducing the input voltage in half while using the rear pre outs for my subwoofer. Fix this before you upset more of your customers. How can this be??? Isn't this their FLAGSHIP model? Insane!
mentalcase
There's gotta be a typo. Pioneer is advertising everywhere that these units come with 3x4v preouts. Have you tried it?
