sofakng
I'm really enjoying my 8000NEX but I'd like to connect a headrest monitor so my son can watch videos in the back of the car. Does anybody have any recommendations or difficulty of installation?
tekki
I got mine from IEI IN HAZLET, NJ. The headrest monitors just about match my seats and the kids love them. Of course they like to listen to movies through the speakers but I make them wear headsets.
sofakng
Ahhh, OK... Do you know the model of the headrest monitor?
tekki
This is one of my head rest monitors, make and model is on them if you want to look them up. The pair wasn't expensive, it's been a while since I bought them, can't remember what I paid.

tekki
They came just like that, pulled the stock head rests out popped these puppies in and ran the wires. They have 2 inputs so one kid can play a game and the other can watch a movie. Input 1 is from my 8000, the other input is a set of RCA's stashed in my center console I hook up the play station to. They also came with a a pair of head sets so the kids can listen to the movie while I'm play music. Kids love them.
tekki
Those are about 7 years old, there are better screens out there now, but these play nice and were around 150 my cost. That pic was taken this afternoon with a lot of sun light around, so I've been happy with them.
drenyce311
nice. I would want to eventually do it. But the cream leather interior i have is hard to match with these standard colors.
