Worth it upgrading from Z series?

Does the NEX 8000 have the same harness as the Z150BH?  I ordered the unit, just waiting for it to arrive.. trying to figure out whether I need to buy another harness adapter or if I can just re-use the harness from the Z150BH

Someone from the topic said his harness from his 950 fit the nex without changing anything

I don't have a 950, I have a z150 so I don't know what that means to me unfortunately.

I think someone had said they checked on crutchfield web site, matched up the two harnesses but I can't remember which models they were for so give it a try

The x950/z150 have the exact same connections as the 8000NEX. I didnt even have to swap the power plugs, mic or satellite receiver (though I did just in case there is a mild revision in parts). The only difference was that I no longer have to have the Pioneer proprietary USB adapter from the old unit. The 8000NEX includes a standardized dual USB plug, and includes an extension to get your USB to where you need it.
