drenyce311
I think this is normal. I could be wrong
Sebas718
It's a black screen message that pops every 15 seconds, it's annoying. It can't be normal because this started happening recently.
CuznVinny
turn off Camera View in camera settings
Sebas718
If I do that then my camera won't work
scotty3x3
Then something is not connected properly. Your camera should turn on when the car is in reverse and turn off when you shift out of reverse. This should work whether the camera setting is on OR off. If it only work when that setting is on, then something is not connected properly.
CuznVinny
Camera Veiw is the camera pop up setting that keeps the camera on all the time. If you want it just in reverse, turn off Camera View, and turn on reverse trigger.

drenyce311
1. is the camera connected to the brown (REAR CAMERA INPUT)? 2. I found that I had to hook up the reverse trigger to the back of the unit. Theres a reverse trigger wire there. Check if thats the issue. That was my issue
camar0rs
as others have stated, turn off camera view... this is not for reverse operation.... long as you have camera plugged into brown port, camera input on and connected purple/white wire to reverse signal then shouldn't be an issue....
