olevelo
Does the 8000 and/or 4000 mirror non-jailbreaked iPhones? According to these two videos it does, by just selecting the HDMI input: I was under the impression you had to jailbreak to get this sort of functionality.
scotty3x3
This is pretty funny. This is actually where I bought my 4000 from. I didn't know they made YouTube videos. This is 100% accurate. This is not the type of "mirroring" that requires your phone to be jailbroken. Notice how he says in hdmi mode, it's not touch friendly. You can't control the phone through hdmi mode, but you can see what's going on on your phone exactly as they have it represented in the video.
olevelo
I guess maybe I was thinking of whatever mirroring that doesn't work with normal AirPlay mirroring...although I've never actually found any apps that didn't work in that mode (but heard there were some!). This is pretty killer, as you're not quite as limited to only appradio or carplay apps (obviously losing the touch, but still).
drenyce311
Dont worry. Someone will make a hack for it. Seems like AppRadio Extension doesnt work with iOS 7.1. Once it gets up and running you can mirror with touch
