Hey, so I had some help fixing my DA120 With Testkey N3 to unlock the SD and the Image that I now have for the US SPH-DA120. You use win32 disk imager to put the image on the sd card drive once it's unlocked.

Hi just stumbled on this forum asI am having an issue with my DA120 here in the UK. Went out to the car this morning and switched on and got the software error.

Is it just a case of downloading the DA120 file from the above link and extracing / installing it onto the new memory card and then plugging this into the head unit?

Any help grately appreciated as my journies to work are now rather dull.

Mike

I recently stumbled on this thread looking to find information about the SD firmware on a 4000NEX. I'm trying to fix a 4000NEX with corrupted firmware. I successfully copied over the image from my 4100 to the 4000 using the tools provided on the backups thread, only to find out that bluetooth isn't working, and apparently nobody has been able to get it working either. I've been searching the webs trying to find an img file of the 4000 stock firmware, but have come up empty. As a last resort, I'm hoping maybe someone here knows a link, or maybe has the img file? If it's still needed, I can upload my backup 4100 stock img file.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I replaced the internal SD card on my 4000nex with the 6100 backup since I was unable to find one for the 4000nex but would like to downgrade back to 4000 to get bluetooth functionality restored. I read on an earlier post that this is possible however, when i try to install other firmware versions for 4000, the unit just reports an error message. Is the only way to downgrade via pulling back out the internal SD card, trying to locate a 4000nex image and reinstalling? This forum has been a great source of info, BTW. Thanks!
