feinberj
I'd like to get a remote for the 8000. Are there any remotes being sold by Pioneer that will work? Thanks, John F NY, NY
DP3343
Remote is optional with the 8000 which means it has the ir sensor on it. The 4000 comes with a remote. I assume it works for the 8000 as well.
Shackleton
I dont see where it states there is an optional remote? Wired remote input is not the same thing. So glad I got the 4000 I can always add nav if I want and came with the remote and removable full front face. Also watched a video the 8000 and boot time and source selection times look identical maybe faster with the 4k
MarketSqHero
Really, you have a 4000, we wouldn't have guessed...

DP3343
Where did you see that stated? You know I could have sworn I saw it as an option in the specs for the 8000. It isn't there. My mistake.
mbezzo
Anybody had a chance to try either the CD-SR100 or CD-SR11? Would love to get one if they do! Thanks, mbezzo

mbezzo
nope! Rockin old school (2001) here. Guess I'll just have to move the ol arm off the steering wheel and touch it, like people used to do. Life is so hard!
Shackleton
Could have got the 4k and avic u260 and had it all

MarketSqHero
Could have got the 4k and avic u260 and had it all But you don't "have it all" do you? You don't have a much brighter multi-touch capacitive screen do you? You won't have the ability to use AVIC-SYNC for live weather / fuel prices / traffic info. The 4k with a u260 add on is not the same as an 8k, not by a long way.
