AVIC-D3 bluetooth problems!

Recommended Posts

The BTB100 works fine with my D3. I use it with a cingular Razr and cingular L6. I had to send the contacts one at a time, but an hour in traffic took care of that little project. I would recommend lowering your phone volume to half way or less before the first time you sync it up. If you have it at full blast, you may have echo problems

What Version Razr do you have? Meaning how old. My Old razr would not automatically connect to my BT100 with my D2. So my ? are

1 Year/version of Razr

2 Is it the D2 or the D3 that makes a difference?

Thanks

Thanks for the instructions on the contact transfering. That Is what I did and after it kicks I select Phone book transfer, and I go to send my contact it says it can not find the Pioneer.

I have no problem calling or it receiving and pairing is easy once I get near my car I get paired instantly because I registered the phone.

Maybe the BTB200 will fix. Or get a new phone right.. probably cheaper..

The problem is bluetooth is just not that standardized yet!

1. Is a plain black cingular razr, probably a year old or so--not really sure

2. I got a D3 and the bluetooth adaptor. Didn't have bluetooth with my D1

GAP: Generic Access Profile

OPP: Object Push Profile

HSP: Headset Profile

SDP: Service Discovery Protocol

A2DP: Audio(?) And Distribution Profile

AVRCP: Audio Video Remote Control Profile

According to the Tech Support agent I talked to, there is no compatiblity list, but rather there is a requirement list, and you now have it....if your phone has the above, you're good to go.

If it's wrong, yell at Pioneer.
