Tim98TA Posted August 26, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 26, 2014 Moved my mic right infront of the speedometer. Did a test call to my office phone while driving. Said a few sentences, then put a piece of foam, that I made that fit over the mic itself. Said a few sentences. Made a call to someone. They told me to take it off of speaker that it sounded like I was in a tube. Got back to office and listened to my voicemail. Yep sounds like I'm in a tube with windows down. Mr. Furious Posted August 26, 2014 Report Share Posted August 26, 2014 I'm using the microphone that came with the 8000 and I've received reports that the SQ is very good - slightly better than the OEM Bluetooth in my Passat. shoban13 Posted August 29, 2014 Report Share Posted August 29, 2014 I'm using the stock microphone that came with my 4000NEX.....I have it mounted right above the rear view mirror (center light console).
