rkenen Posted August 20, 2014 Report Share Posted August 20, 2014 Can I use both USB ports on the back of my AVIC 8000nex? My truck has one in the console and one I am adding for dash. Can I just hook one to each of the ports in the back so I can charge two phones/ipads at once? Manual said something about iphones only using USB1. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
joemamma1954 Posted August 20, 2014 Report Share Posted August 20, 2014 You can use both usb ports, as i have one going to dash and other hooked up to solid state drive. usb1 is for iPhone functionality, usb2 for android or other use. My usb1 is in dash for my iPhone, usb2 is in glove compartment. phone will charge only when ignition is on. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
