Mistertomlinson Posted August 21, 2014 Report Share Posted August 21, 2014 I bought this head unit new a little over a year ago and just decided to hook up a camera. I have everything hooked up correctly and upon testing it for the first time, when turning the rear view cam on in the settings (I have it running to constant 12V when the ignition is on so I can turn it on myself), the camera operated for a few seconds than sporadically cut off and back on until finally staying off. Now, whenever putting my car in reverse or manually turning the cam on, it displays a black screen. However, when switching to the AV input, it works just fine. Of course, doing it that way turns my music off. What could possibly be wrong? Thanks for any help you can give me. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Mistertomlinson Posted August 21, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2014 I'm stupid. For future Googlers, the camera video input is different from the general AV video input. It's a brown RCA jack on the side with the audio inputs. Again, DON'T use the yellow video input for the camera. It's up and running now. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
