Covert_Death
did you ever fix this? I am seeing a HUGE red flag if not. Your title says NEX4000 but you are trying to use the NEX5000 firmware, that's not going to work.
Pjrm68
did you ever fix this? I am seeing a HUGE red flag if not. Your title says NEX4000 but you are trying to use the NEX5000 firmware, that's not going to work. All of the update folders say NEX5000, regardless of what model you have. As long as you downloaded the right file initially, this is not an issue.
we3735
i had nex4000 installed at bestbuy and have same problem of firmware button greyed out. I went to AV and turned it to off. I cycled the parking break but no change. I have a 2001 Mitsubishi eclipse spyder. Any suggestions. Should I go back to best buy? Any suggestions. I bought this for carplay. the fw version on the unit was 1.03. I am trying to load 1.08 connect usb1. it shows that the flash drive is in usb1.
