Hi there, I have a 950 DAB, all has been well, until a couple of weeks back I received an E0000011 error. Next day the system worked properly but I got a couple more of the E0000011 errors over the next few days.

I checked the version number and it was at Version 1.00. So I downloaded 1.06 and followed the install instructions perfectly.

However after the reboot, the system booted to a black screen with 'Software configuration error, contact your Pioneer support.........' etc etc.

Today I used testmode and it says that the NAND is unreadable.

In Filemode I cannot see a USER folder so I cannot carry out any fixes written elsewhere on this site.

Can anyone please advise me what the NAND is? Is it a HD? Is it ROM or a SD card?

I'm hoping I can replace the NAND part or format it.

Thank you

That is the NAND memory, it is 8 gb, probably something you will need to check with Pioneer on. Not sure what they format it to, and what files are supposed to be on it. but i did find in the specs, it was 8 gb.

Thank you, it looks like it's the SD card then. I have bought another one to see if I can format that one.

Does anyone know what the SD card is formatted with? Is it FAT, FAT32, NTFS or something else?

Does anyone know if there is a resource where I can copy the correct files onto this NAND card?

Pioneer support have not helped in any way, they are beneath contempt and the 3rd party repair specialists are talking about charging between £65 and £300 to replace a £4.50 SD card.

You pay £700 for a car stereo and you get treated like a sucker, never again.
