As I have an avic rz501 and aperantly without this software I can't make the translation to English. Just purchased a japanese import car which has a Carrozzeria AVIC-HRZ099 head unit . I've tried to understand the protocol , as it is all in japanese ,using Google translate on my smart phone but cannot see how to access the HDD.Any help their will be very much appreciated. Also ,I've downloaded the manuals for this and managed to translate some of the pdf files using Google translate again ,but the main files are greater than 10Mb and google doesn't want to know .tried to split the files (unsuccesful) ,again any suggestion or help will be appreciated . ACK241 Posted June 9, 2022 Report Share Posted June 9, 2022 Hi, I have MRZ09 and it is stuck on startup screen showing Pioneer etc. I can enter in Test Mode but can not backup or delete User directory. When trying it it just shows wait, I have waited around 15 minutes but nothing happens. Also it is very slow when I go to User directory, that takes around 1 min. Is there way to hard reset it? Would be very pleased any hints what can be done because box is now unusable. I have read all messages in this thread but none of those has helped.
