JasonH
Anyone have any technicial info on Pioneer's IP-Bus System? It think it would be possible to take the X50's Audio Out, and give it a IP Bus Connection or something.
JasonH
I gave this some more thought and realized, it's not really practical. I know this would be possible by using a Aux In cable. However, the source would have to be on Aux to hear the sounds. So, if you wanted to listen to XM or the Radio, your out of luck. Now, what would be REALLY COOL is if the D1 would make a GPS Location when a full strength radar signal was detected. I'll stop dreaming now.
whtcrxghst
Believe it or not Jason, your dream is partially realized in parts of Europe. They use cameras for traffic violations in some countries. Pioneer and TeleAtlas note the location of the units that are fixed in place and compile them. Every so often you burn it on a CDR and put it in your Z1 to update the locations and it will prompt you each time you are approaching one. Awesome! But too many legal issues to implement in the US. NYRngrs24
i know some people would mark it on the system, when at the camera. and they would give it an icon, and enable the icon to show on the map all the time
Guest harly4d
I'd just like to wire my Bel detector to mute the radio when it alrams! Some times I've got the radio up so loud I can't here the detector.
