aussiedog
I see that a number of new apps are now compatible with CarPlay, but I'm not sure how to add them. I have just the original 8 apps when my unit was installed. For example, I have Stitcher on my iPhone, and this is supposedly compatible with CarPlay, but it does not appear on my Pioneer 5000NEX. Same for podcasts. Unless there is a hidden screen or some way to scroll that I don't see (?). Thanks for any tips...
philfrompa
You need to download the apps to your iphone. They will then show up in car play. Stitcher is not one of them. Phil

Right now the only third-party apps that work with CarPlay are iHeartRadio, Rdio, and (supposedly) Spotify. The others (like MLB At-Bat and Stitcher) are going to work with CarPlay at some point, but haven't been updated yet.
CXRabbit
Pandora and AHA seem to work differently. They show up as devices, which is a strange implementation, but they do work.
