D3 SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK ON D1/2

Attention
This is not the appropriate disc.
Please insert the appropriate disc.
I should note, I used the same DL DVD's as before, and the ISO looks good. I think the D1 just doesn't like it.

Care to elaborate? I never saw you/anyone say it wouldn't work. Is the D3 software the same as CNDV-70MP?
Oh, and just so you guys won't try this: Going into the service menu, formating and trying to do the forced write does NOT work either. You'll just end up putting the 60 discs back in and re-entering your address book.

That sucks a bit. I wonder if it's possible to create a hybrid disc.
Thats what I was thinking.
Is it possible to just replace the maps and POI files on the D2 disc with the info from the D3 disc?
