I know I need to ground the green parking brake wire and ground the empty slot on the harness. What I don't know is the order. Can I do all of this before I turn on the unit for the first time, or do I need to let the unit boot up and then change the wires? Also, do I need to have the e-brake engaged on first boot up. Just want to make sure I do it correctly the first time. This will be installed in a 2005 Nissan Altima. Anyone know if there is a seperate vss and illumination wire? Thanks for all the help.
