I got a RCA to mini jack coming from the back of the headunit. went into the setting for AV and set to Video. Plug my Mp3 Player (sometime ipod, sometime my PDA)... i cant control the volume from the unit... only from my ipod or watever mp3 player i am using. is this correct?? or am i missing something? psswrd Posted March 24, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 24, 2007 i did that. i even had the volume turned to 1 on the D1 and still the same level of sound that the ipod had. last night i did noticed one thing. i had my laptop with me and decided to plug the sound in to listen to my mp3 from the laptop. i forgot the D1 had the radio playing (was listening to the Knicks game)... the front speaker was playing the laptop and the rear was playing the radio... well at least thats what I believe i heard. yes i dont need to go to AV to play my ipod. i can actually have it on the radio and still able to have sounds. weird huh.
