AVG-VDP1 with Avic

That doesn't work with the avics. It even says so on pioneer's website and in the manual....

 

 

I know it says that...but tell me this...How can it not work if you have the video input coming into the avic from it? As long as someone had that converter box, there is no reason for it not to work

Because the one thing everyone is forgetting, is that not only is video transmitted down the "rgb" cable, but data as well is sent. There in lies the problem. But hey, if you want to try it be my guest.

 

Then how in the hell does a RGB converter work when it transmits it straight to the A/V cables on that box?

You know what jus do it. Have fun hope you're able to return everything when it doesn't work.
