frst2no Posted April 5, 2007 Report Share Posted April 5, 2007 I have a 05 avalanche and tring to locate where to attach the green wire for the pac swi-ps. their website shows a terminal "you could always reach over and turn down the volume" I was not amused. norrin302 Posted April 5, 2007 Report Share Posted April 5, 2007 Here is the link to the Pac-Audio site for your truck. Says you need to connect the green wire to pin B31 (Lt. Green) in the steering column. I wouldn't count on B31 being light green, but it may be. The color of my wire it specified was incorrect. Just take a look at the pins and locate the correct one. Whichever wire is in that pin location is the one you want to tap in to. Make sure to cut the brown looped wire in the SWI-PS harness (step 5). Good luck.
