Durongo
Any help would be much appreciated. Won't have my gear until Monday, but trying to be prepared. Do I need the VSS for nav to perform properly?
cntrylvr79
Get the canbus interface, it'll allow you to retain the infinity system and gives you all the connections you need right at the radio. Without that, you'll have to run speaker wire to the passenger kkickpanel to bypass the factor amp. You have to tap the cig lighter for accessory so the avic will turn on and as for vss and reverse, Reverse Light white/lt. green or white/red + fuse box, black plug, pin 17 or 18 Speed Sense you have to go out to a wheel speed sensor. You'll also need the dash bezel for a durango with factory nav. Then the dash kit you'll want is a 99-6510. merry xmas.
Durongo
Double DIN NAV kit for Durango and a new dash bezel. I also just picked up Perripheral's canbus interface, so I should be good to go. I also bought Metra's CHTO-01, but I don't think it has the vss or reverse wire, so I may just sell it. Do you have any knowledge of the CHTO-01? Thanks, RON
Durongo
what I bought: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... &rd=1&rd=1 I bought it before finding this forum, so I hope the interface is what I need. I bought the Peripheral canbu also since it definitely has what I need.
