07 Element Avic-D2 bypass problems

ok so here is the deal. 've installed the unit, and the bypass.

But im running into some things I don't like too much.

The different map views are greyed out. So I only get the original view.

It doesn't recoginize my XM Tuner, even thou the XM works great.

3D Calibration still hasn't finished and its been in for over 2 months.

And finally along with all of this when i have an external video/audio hooked up I can get the picture but there is a very loud feedback sound. I've checked all the wires and they are are insulated and what not.

If you have any ideas how to fix these problems or any suggestions it would truely help

the XM is only recognized if you have the NAV traffic hooked up with data cable

 

for the 3d calibration.. do you have the VSS wire hooked up?

 

and for your video problem. i would check the ground of the power source of your video player. try a diff cig lighter or power inverter

3D calibration only kicks in when your VSS is hooked up.

If you find where to hook up the vss wire please let me know . we cant get the correct answer where it is because all has changed from 06 to 07 model year can buss !

I think that the 07 E went to a shaft speed sensor, like the Ridgeline. Connect to one of the abs sensor wires.
