zoomzoom
The harness I got for my Mazda3 2007 has a ground on it. I cut off the spade connector on the radio harness (d3) and spliced it with the harness' ground. Is this okay or should I have grounded the spade and left the car harness ground alone? My DVDs still dont play past 15 mph AND I have the improper ground warning so I'm going to go thru all the connections tomorrow and figure it all out, just looking for more input from you more experienced d3 users . Thanks for the help in advance.
MisFit
the ground wire in your harness is fine, but you have to do the bypass for your video to work
zoomzoom
Ty for the reply. I did the bypass but a wire isn't connecting or grounding properly, probably the mute wire as I wasn't too confident in it being secure the way I inserted it. Gonna redo it with all solder (hate the butt connectors) and I'll post back. Thanks again

mentalcase
I have a mazda 3 aswell and i grounded the mute wire properly but since the space in our dash is so small that is puts stress on the wire and pulls it out. I think i need a new pin for my harness.
