bryancx94
I gotz an avic-D3 When I am stopped it's at 0 then as I accelerate up to about 10mph it hits around 100, as I go faster it goes higher, as high as 400 and the graph is all the way up. If i leave this screen open I eventually get irregualr speed pulse. I already tried resetting my unit, the vehicle dyanmics do not work either i get, function not avaiable, and i have driven about 500 miles. O yes i also get the shop demo screen loading when i turn my car on. I have tried numerous resets. Is this all related to the VSS wire being on the wrong wire? What's the average climb on the speed pulse?
MisFit
it varies from car to car, as long as it goes up with acceleration you should be ok
cntrylvr79
year/make/model of the vehicle and where you tapped vss would be helpful.
kerrys914
On an '02 Audi it looks like reading is 1/100 motor RPM.
bryancx94
yeah sorry.. 2005 chevy colorado ext cab. I tapped the yellow/black wire on the PCM. There was two of them, i tapped one of them and started getting signal when i accelerated so I assumed this was correct.

bryancx94
Well i switched to the other wire, no dice. I just disconnected it for now. The other really annoying thing is still the DEMO mode screen. After removing the VSS wire, i reset the unit once again. No luck. Anyone know how to correct this?
