negri21 Posted June 16, 2006 Report Share Posted June 16, 2006 Doesn anyone else have a squeeling sound when they accelerate with this unit? i did with my other avics too and never could figure it out. is there a 'filter" or something? this is very annoying!! please email me if you have a solution. Guest Posted June 16, 2006 Report Share Posted June 16, 2006 thats not specific to avic's. I'm guessing you have an external amp hooked up to your headunit. If so , buy a ground loop eliminator at best buy for like $12, plug it into your rcas from the headunit ( on the head unit side, opposed to the amp side) and viola there should no longer be a squeeling noise while you accelerate.
