How To: Find your Vehicle's VSS Wire.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am looking for the VSS on an infiniti I30 99 which is the same as Maxama 99 with bose system.

The Electrical manual at http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/i30/1998_I30/el.pdf shows two wires on page EL-72 and El 73 but I do not know which one to use BR/W or LG/B?

Thanks

Hey guys,

I found this other thread with the VSS for a 2001 Mazda Tribute, but my car has both gray/black and blue/yellow going into the Cruise Control box (Pins 2& 3). Can anyone validate which one it is on a 2005 Mazda Tribute:

Thanks

I have a Pontiac G5 base model and have spread this question across Google and Bing and have not come up with anything definitive. The OEM did have a speed setting for the volume as I saw someone mention in an earlier response if that has any effect on the outcome.

Hi guys.  Looking for the VSS wire on a 2001 Suburban. Kind of old now, but just putting in a much needed upgrade. Anyone still have data on this old beauty?  Thanks!
