robfinke Posted May 28, 2007 Report Share Posted May 28, 2007 I have an '03 Jetta VR6 with Monsoon. I want to get my new AVIC D3 installed this week. So far I have: The AVIC D3 unit. The Sirius SIR PNR2. The bluetooth CD BTB200. What else is needed? What kind of wires are needed? Is anything else needed, e.g. farme to go inside the dash? Thanks, - Rob p.s. menace1930 Posted May 30, 2007 Report Share Posted May 30, 2007 You are going to need a wire harness and an antenna adapter to complete the install. I suggest getting them online from a site like ebay before going into a store because they will be about twice as much at a place like best buy. Also make sure to specify if your radio is a single or double din monsoon when buying the harness as well because there are 2 different plugs Quote Link to post Share on other sites

installermarc Posted June 13, 2007 Report Share Posted June 13, 2007 you will also need some sort of cage and mount for the dash. look to pioneer parts for the mounting sleeve, side bracket (2), screws (, and trim ring from an avic-d1. used all of the same stuff i had laying around last week on an 03 gti getting a z2.
