i recently put in a d3 unit in my silverado with the help of a friend who already installed a d2 in his 04 silverado. The problem im having is im not sure if i used the correct adapter for my setup...I have a 07 crewcab silverado classic body style with the non lux bose system, no onstar, and rear seat audio controls. I used the metra gmos-04 adapter and it didnt seem like it was working right as it would crackle and pop after the ignition was shut off, and the chimes wouldnt work??? On top of that I have very or no little sound coming from the rear speakers, all the sound is up front, the headunit's staging settings doesnt even allow me access to the rear seat(just centering, left or right in the front seat area), so I am under the assumption that the rears arent registering in the system. Is that because I have the wrong adapter???(I do have the rear seat audio controls if that makes a difference?) any ideas would be really appreciated.. Everything else works great, except i have to check my connections for the bypass...thanks in advance, kevin
