After ya'll did the install on the gps, did you have to manually pinpoint the location of where ya'll were at on the gps? or did it automatically just detect where you were at? because i have a problem on my unit where everytime you disconnect the unit, it would reset to a default location in california LA i think. cntrylvr79 Posted July 27, 2007 Report Share Posted July 27, 2007 THat's just what it does. I wouldn't be surprised if like Paisan said it defaults to Pioneer USA's location. Once it gets a GPS lock it'll locate itself properly on the map. Generally takes between 1 and 3 minutes for the lock. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
