jim9251
It took a while but I finally figured out how to wire everything (except for the VSS wire). This thing is SO cool! Nav unit works perfectly and had no trouble finding me, and I LOVE the XM radio.
kevin4e
Looks nice Good job and glad to hear you got all the wires setup correctly ( at least for the most part ).
jim9251
Thanks. Except for the VSS wire, I'm lost there. Ok and the amp. Are BOTH blue and white wires from the amp connected to the remote power wire? But, heck, it works and my car didn't explode. For that, I'm happy. *EDIT* And THANK YOU offroaderf150 for the help. Now my VSS is connected, and my amp and subwoofers are connected. And my car still didn't explode! *ANOTHER EDIT* Well I moved my XM and GPS antennas, driving around Fayetteville (LOTS of hills) I kept getting drop outs on XM. Stuck them both on the dash under the windshield and ran the wires down both door posts and into the radio. You can't see the antennas at all. No drop outs and the GPS works great, even thought I didn't use that metal plate thing. I've gotten more compliments on the cool factor of this radio.
Analyzer52
I know this is an old post but any pictures of your antenna location I have the same car and was wondering a good spot for them in the convertible?
