GnatGoSplat Posted August 19, 2008 Report Share Posted August 19, 2008 That's the worst install I've ever seen! Were any of those loose wires HOT? What did it cost to fix? It looks to me like you needed to replace the entire dash bezel around the HU due to the glue and the chunks gouged out of the edges around the opening. Glovebox you obviously needed to replace. Did he also cause any cosmetic damage to the HU itself? It could be reflection, but I see what looks like a scratch by the aux jack and a scuff on the right side. louiea Posted August 19, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 19, 2008 It probably cost $350 after everything. I got all the parts new from Volvo, but at least it's right now. I mean I didn't hack the bezel to bits a little saw made two super clean cuts and done. Wasn't able to get anything back basically heard it would have been a waste of time from some people in the local government. I guess this has happened before. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
