installthis06
Yea you should have just ran a new mem wire right when you saw 5 volts. The wire probably has a short in the wire somewhere or it got burned up somewhere, just leave the bastard and put your new one on and you'll have navi back up in a second. dodgeintrenton
Yeh I should have. Well I did and it worked. I ran a new line and fused it the n2 powered up no problem and is running great. I appreciate all of your help. This forum is a great thing, you can't get help like this from any manufacturer's customer service. I have one quick question thats unrelated. If the XM and sirius merger goes through will I be able to get the navtraffic without getting a whole bunch of xm equipment. I already have sirius and don't want to switch(howard stern). If not is the n2 capable of using sirius's version of the nav traffic. Also what's the word in the industry on the sirius mobile video? If this topic isn't allowed in this forum let me know and I'll start a new post in another section. Thanks again you guys saved my trip down south. I would have had mapquest printouts all over the place.
