sdinsmore Posted August 13, 2007 Report Share Posted August 13, 2007 When watching video on from an iPod (using the iPod interface), there is a "Widescreen Mode" which can be set to Normal, Full, Zoom, & Cinema. All of these besides "Normal" stretch/crop/zoom the video AUTOMATICALLY, as if they were expecting a certain resolution (I'm assuming DVD source resolution, 720x480 NTSC). Normal mode does not stretch, crop or zoom, but it inserts black bars on the sides of the picture, even if you provide a widescreen video. I've been trying to get a bunch of movies I encoded to 480x234 to display properly (no cropping, stretching, zooming or black bars), but I can't figure it out, HELP!!!!!!! I'm using the h.264 Low-Complexity Profile codec via Handbrake... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
