piranha
I just updated to version 2013 USA/CAN Maps 5.0, and can't seem to find any info on which hex addresses to modify to get the "Safe mode" On/Off function to allow using the NAV unit while the parking brake isn't engaged. If anyone can help point me in the right direction, that'd be great! Thanks
piranha
So I *think* I figured it out.. The first change in these two mods seem to bring up the Safe Mode toggle under Settings (with a slightly different offset). offset 15aef0, change the value from 02 00 56 E3 to 09 00 56 E3. offset 15aee0, change the value from 01 10 A0 E3 to 00 10 A0 E3. I never tried the second... Does anyone know what that one is supposed to do?
Lyverbe
I believe it disables the nag screen which is the warning that always asks you to click "OK" before showing the GPS.
piranha
I believe it disables the nag screen which is the warning that always asks you to click "OK" before showing the GPS. I was able to remove the nag screen with this one: offset BEBFC, change 05 00 00 0A -> 00 00 A0 E1 Still not sure =/ Oh well, everything seems to be functioning as it should. Such a nice hack! black_escape
Hey there, I was wondering where did you end up getting the version 5.0 maps from? Would love to update from version 3 for my x930bt. To disable the Nav screen warning when you select Navigation, what file did you edit and did you edit the file before you updated the the software version?
