I've got myself a AVIC-8000NEX from Amazon in the US due to low availability in Australia and good savings (we get overcharged for god knows what reason...) Now everything seems to be fine however the maps are for the US which doesn't help me so much. Is it possible i can put Australian maps on the device? I know the same model is sold in Australia as the "AVIC-F60DAB" which costs $2,000 new. I've done a little research with map updates but i can't even attempt to try it due to me not having a "Media Number" which is supposed to be bundled with the disk but i don't see it anywhere in the box.
